After growing up on the mean gravel street of Aberdeen, South Dakota, Jeff went on to study journalism and writing for television (in addition to writing about himself in the third person) at Minnesota State University and UCLA.

Jeff is currently a scribe/co-executive producer for the hit series, BMF. He began writing for television on the record-breaking Starz original drama, Power, where he contributed to the show’s consecutive NAACP Image Award wins for Outstanding Drama Series.

In addition to his work in one-hour drama, Jeff has produced multiple projects for official Disney Imagineering Legend, Mr. Bob Gurr: the two-part audiobook, Imagine This…; the documentary film, Bob Gurr: Never Say No; and the Patreon series, The Bob Gurr Show. All document Bob’s extraordinary career in innovating some of the most beloved spectacles in popular entertainment. His ingenuity and design approach has led him to work alongside several of the greatest creative minds of all time: Walt Disney, Steven Spielberg, Michael Jackson, and Steve Wynn, to name a few.

Jeff is also currently developing The Gold Rush, an original graphic novel inspired by one of the largest unsolved bank robberies in history.
